Celebrating 75 Years of Service to Westmoreland County Residents

Established in 1941, Westmoreland County Housing Authority (WCHA) is celebrating 75 years of providing safe, affordable housing for families and seniors througout Westmoreland County. The legacy of providing save affordable housing continues through 2016.

WCHA owns and operates 38 housing communities varying from senior hi-rises, apartments, townhouses and single dwelling homes. In addition to affordable housing, WCHA offers educational, recreational, social and wellness activities in many of these communities. WCHA also offers transportation, with wheelchair accessibility, to shopping areas, malls, banks, and grocery stores in targeted communities.

Our goal is to manage our units in a manner that is consistent with good financially sound property management practices. We are committed to serving our residents and this entire county in a matter that demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and respect. We Care!
