WCHA owns and operates 45 housing communities varying from senior hi-rises, apartments, townhouses and single dwelling homes.
WCHA offers educational, recreational, social and wellness activities in many of these communities. WCHA also offers transportation, with wheelchair accessibility, to shopping areas, malls, banks, and grocery stores in targeted communities.

WCHA closed New Year’s Day
Westmoreland County Housing Authority offices will be closed January 1, 2024, in observance of New Year’s Day. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. January 2, 2025.
Happy holidays for WCHA residents
Residents at WCHA’s Grand View Senior Residences in Irwin and Trafford Manor recently enjoyed a holiday party that included a visit by Santa! (See photos below).
Arnold residents in the holiday spirit
Westmoreland County Housing Authority in conjunction with Arnold Police Department recently shared some holiday spirit. Approximately 40 residents took part in the holiday pizza party. All had a good time, said Arnold Mayor Shannon Santucci.
